This is a picture I scanned of my grandmother. It was taken sometime in the 1920's. I just loved the green and browns together.

It wasn't very hard to come up with the title for my blog. I used to work at my LSS and one of my fellow employees called herself the Scrap Diva. Well, not to be outdone, I had to give myself a name. And since I am forever saving bits and pieces from the trash bin for future paper crafting projects...voila! I am the Trash Queen! It's kind of a joke, but hey, I am a goofball.

Oh, my- This page is fabulous! What an awesome picture, and you have shown it off beautifully. You did a lovely job on this! Was her middle name really Smith and then she married a Smith? I'll bet that causes some confusion! I have two different friends who married men with the same last name as theirs... so confusing! I imagine it will cause some problems generations from now when descendants try to make sense of their their genealogy!
